Kerri & Brandon Big Pocono State Park

The first time I sat down with Kerri and Brandon, I knew their wedding would be unique and laid back. Kerri and Brandon are snowboard instructors, so we had a great discussion about  how I had always wanted to try, but everyone said it is too hard and I am too old to learn. Which is a bad thing to tell me : ) They assured me that was false,  Now I have to learn!   The oldest person they taught was 75. Yeah there is hope for all of us!

But enough about that. Since they are  instructors, they met each other on the slopes. Brandon proposed at the very spot they held the wedding, at the top of the black diamond run at Camelback in the Big Pocono State park, using the chair lift as their altar. How romantic is that. The view was stunning and the details were very simple and natural. Kerri looked so sweet  and Brandon is quite a character, but why wouldn’t he be . Such a wonderful group of friends and family. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your day.

Their tented affair was decorated with hand painted canvas,  nice touch.  The awesome cake and cupcake by Vegan Treats Bakery MMMM  so good!   Special thanks to Maggie  Of  Maggie J Photography for seconding shooting : )

Jasmine and Steve _ Chelsea Sun Inn

So the story of how I got to shoot Jasmine and Steve’s wedding.  When I had heard my friend   was shooting a wedding just a mile from my home in the beautiful Chelsea Sun Inn, I begged and pleaded to go along, well I didn’t really beg, but Maggie said sure  as long as Jasmine and Steve where up for it. She already had a second shooter,  so I wanted to tag along,  because hey you can never have enough photographers : )

I have watched The Chelsea Sun transform its self the last couple of years from a dairy farm to this stunning vineyard estate.  If you are looking to have a tented event, the location is very peaceful and the Inn is something to be seen.  They are fairly new and working towards a goal, but they have a vision and I love it!

The light in the church Our Lady Of Mt Carmel in Roseto PA is wonderful, have shot there many times,  the groomsmen, all Marines where in their dress blues  and they were doing  a sword arch. Can you say Officer and  a Gentleman : )

Jasmine looked so lovely  and the colors of the bridesmaids  gowns were so vibrant. Jasmine and Steve had a tented reception with the most amazing party tent, very high roof ,adorned with white paper lanterns The cocktails area was very unique , individual ottomans and pub style tables made for a great place to mingle.
Catering was done By J Defranco and Daughters, in Bangor  Pa they have a great reputation and their food is as good as it looks!

Hope you enjoy looking at the wedding as much as I had capturing it!

Carole & Greg- Skytop Lodge

Carole and Greg , had a small intimate affair at the Skytop Lodge, in Skytop Pa. It is a beautiful 5,000 acre estate at the very top of the mountain. I loved the uniqueness of the table setting, it is something that you cannot see very often, with larger events. Since they chose to see each other before the wedding, it gave us time to stroll the grounds. Wonderful relaxed day.

Favorite Album Pages

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedSince I have done so many wonderful weddings over the years and I cannot possibly show you all of the albums at the studio. Thought I would start to show some of my favorites from various weddings. I know some of you want to do your own design and that is cool too! I love creative people, and there are those of you that are into nice small prints around the house, or even perhaps contemporary gallery wraps. We have them all.

I love when the couples have chosen their final  images for the album and I get to start the layout, all those wonderful moments come back. Yes for me too! I have shared a very personal day with everyone and it’s hard to not be a part of it. Anyway enough babbling enjoy:)

Lorraine and Aaron

Lorraine and Aaron had the perfect setting for their April wedding, creek-side, weeping willows, covered bridge, just a stunning location. When I showed up that day, the skies had already unleashed all of its fury:(  It saved the best for the ceremony. Lorraine and her Mom were prepared, they had the cutest boots and special umbrellas to complete the wonderful weather. You just cant let it rain on your parade!

The ceremony was moved under a pavilion and all was well. Everyone had been such troopers, considering the situation. I was able to shoot in the bridge for some bridal party shots. I am so very happy when couples, realize that its not about the weather it’s about the love:) I loved the backdrop that they had used for behind the head table, such a cool way to light the scene.

So should it rain on your day, make the most of it and play up on the weather.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined
